Easy Bhindi Masala Recipe – Indian Okra Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 250g bhindi (okra)

  • 2 onions (sliced)

  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)

  • 1 green chilli

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon + coriander leaves

How to Make Bhindi Masala

Step 1: Prepare Bhindi

  1. Bhindi ko wash karke completely dry karein.

  2. 1 tbsp oil me shallow fry karein (slimy nahi hoga).

Step 2: Masala Ready karein

  1. Pan me oil garam → cumin add.

  2. Onion golden hone tak cook karein.

  3. Ginger-garlic paste add kar 1 minute bhunein.

  4. Tomatoes + spices dal kar oil alag hone tak cook karein.

Step 3: Mix Bhindi

  1. Fried bhindi masala me add karein.

  2. 5–7 minutes slow flame par cook karein.

  3. Lemon juice + coriander add karein.

  • Bhindi ko hamesha dry rakhein → slimy nahi hoga.
