Paneer Butter Masala Recipe | Restaurant-Style Paneer Butter Masala | Easy Indian Curry


Paneer Butter Masala is a rich, creamy, and flavorful North Indian curry made with paneer, tomato gravy, butter, and aromatic spices. This restaurant-style recipe is easy to make at home and pairs perfectly with naan, roti, and jeera rice.

Ingredients

For the gravy

·         2 tbsp butter

·         1 tbsp oil

·         2 medium onions (chopped)

·         3 large tomatoes (chopped)

·         10–12 cashews

·         1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

·         1–2 green chilies

·         1 tsp red chili powder

·         ½ tsp turmeric

·         1 tsp coriander powder

·         1 tsp garam masala

·         1 tsp kasuri methi (crushed)

·         ½ tsp sugar (optional)

·         Salt to taste

For paneer

·         200–250g paneer cubes

·         2 tbsp fresh cream

·         1 tbsp butter (for final finish)

How to Make Paneer Butter Masala (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Prepare the base

1.      Heat 1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter in a pan.

2.      Add chopped onions and sauté until soft.

3.      Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.

4.      Add tomatoes, cashews, green chilies, and cook for 5–7 minutes.

5.      Let it cool and blend into a smooth paste.
